WHERE WE STAND IN THE 2022 ELECTION CYCLE

Over the weekend, CADEM held it’s Pre-Endorsement Conference, where Democratic candidates in the running vie for the golden egg that is CADEM’s endorsement.  If a candidate has a clear margin of victory at the Pre-Endorsement, then they don’t have to stress it at the CADEM Conference in March.  If, however, it’s not a definitive margin, then multiple candidates will have to campaign their booties off at the event (made more difficult since it is officially virtual again this year). …

REDISTRICTING – HOW IT’S SHAKING OUT

Whoo-ie is it getting crazy here in California after the “final” (pending official approval) 2021 redistricting maps were released in December.  First, it is not easy trying to figure out where we fall in all of this.  When Googling “district maps for California…” there are multiple articles about it, maps readily available from 2011 and even 2001 lines, but it’s like looking through a needle in a haystack to narrow things down and try to find out (a) where WE here in the KRV fall, and (b) who is running to represent us in the 2022 election cycle….
